A driver has been arrested after gardaí uncovered a back seat packed with suspected stolen goods - including groceries, multiple jars of coffee and several boxes of chocolates - during a patrol in Newbridge.
Members of the Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped a vehicle being driven by an unaccompanied learner driver.

The driver was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and has since been charged with handling stolen property.
They are due to appear before the courts in the coming weeks.
The vehicle was seized and impounded, while a Fixed Charge Penalty Notice and two penalty points were also issued for road traffic offences.
