288 Covid patients are in hospital

1,392 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported this evening.

The five-day moving average now stands at 1,311 - which is 170 fewer than two weeks ago.

Latest figures show the country's 14-day incidence rate is 395 per 100,000 people, with Monaghan's the highest in the state.

288 Covid patients are in hospital, two fewer than yesterday, but the ICU figure is up six to 73.

The @hpscireland has today been notified of 1,392* confirmed cases of #COVID19.

As of 8am today, 288 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 73 are in ICU.

The 5-day moving average is 1,311.
