1,470 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported this evening.
The five-day average has fallen to 1,382 - which 16 per cent less than a week ago.
Monaghan, Donegal, Cavan and Leitrim have the highest 14-day incidence rates in the country.

As of 8am today, 367 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 59 are in ICU.
