Two people are due in court in County Laois today in connection to the seizure of cash and drugs by the Criminal Assets Bureau.
Three properties were searched in the Midlands by CAB on Thursday, focusing on the assets of an Eastern European crime group.
220,000 euro worth of cocaine and cannabis was discovered, along with 80,000 euro in cash, financial documents, and a number of high value watches and designer handbags.
A man in his 30s and a woman in her 40s were arrested.
Both are due before Portlaoise District Court at half past 1 this afternoon.
