Phenomenal response to accelerated programme
200,000 people are set to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 up to two months early, according to a government minister.
It is due to the accelerated programme, which allows 18 to 34 year olds to get a Johnson and Johnson jab in a pharmacy from Monday.
The HSE says there's been a 'phenomenal response' since the announcement was made yesterday.
Minister of State for Public Procurement, Ossian Smyth, says it will speed up the rollout a lot.
People aged 18 to 34 can get a Janssen single-dose COVID-19 vaccine in a pharmacy from Monday 5 July. For more information and to see the list of participating pharmacies, visit: https://t.co/tOr1mvSL5W #ForUsAll pic.twitter.com/6e5rDOgsaJ
