There are 52 patients in Irish hospitals

The Department of Health has reported 581 new Covid-19 cases in the Republic of Ireland today.

There are 52 patients in Irish hospitals, an increase of 2 compared with yesterday's figures.

While 16 people are in intensive care units across the country, up one.

There were 631 cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Ireland yesterday, with 58 people in hospital, and 17 in ICU.

As of midnight, Friday 9th July, we are reporting 581* confirmed cases of #COVID19.

16 in ICU. 52 in hospital.
