Unite says rising costs forcing many to borrow or fall behind on bills
80% of public sector workers have cut back on essential spending on food and energy over the past year, according to a new survey.
Findings from Unite trade union reveal a third of its members have had to borrow to meet their household costs, while over a quarter reported falling behind on payments such as rent, bills and loans.
