Gary Gannon, Social Democrats TD for Dublin Central reports
A TD for Dublin Central says a holistic approach is needed to tackle crime.
It comes as earlier this week the Dail was told over 40,000 crimes in 2024 involved suspects who were out on bail.
It's an increase of almost 5,000 since 2022, the figures, which were obtained by Sinn Féin, showed.
Gary Gannon, Social Democrats TD for Dublin Central, says people get trapped in a cycle.
