The incident happened in the early hours of this morning in the Poppintree Area in Dublin
A man has been arrested following the robbery of a taxi driver in the Poppintree area of Ballymun in Dublin, in the early hours of this morning
The driver was threatened at knifepoint and a sum of cash was stolen from the car before the suspect fled on foot.
The driver, a man in his 40s, was not physically harmed.
Gardaí say they have arrested a man, aged in his 20's in relation to the incident, he is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
