The incident happened in Dublin 18 at around 2am.
A woman in her 30's was stabbed and seriously injured in Dublin early this morning.
She was taken to St Vincent's Hospital where she received treatment for 'serious but non-life threatening injuries' - after being stabbed a number of times in the back and legs.
Gardaí say they're investigating a 'serious assault' around 2am this morning at Ballyogan in Dublin 18.
