Almost 40 per cent of greenhouse gas emissions in 2021 came from the agriculture sector.

The Agriculture Minister says too much focus falls on the sector to meet Ireland's climate targets.

Charlie McConalogue says agriculture makes up such a large part of Ireland's emissions as the country isn't as industrialised as elsewhere.
