The number of people in hospital has risen to its highest level in 14 months.
Some 39,561 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed over the past three days.
There are 11,729 confirmed today, and figures for the weekend have also been released.
15,460 cases were confirmed on Saturday, along with 12,372 on Sunday.
1,624 Covid patients are hospitalised, of whom 54 are in ICU.
The number of people in hospital with Covid-19 has doubled in the past three weeks.
Today the figure stands at the highest in over 14 months, three weeks ago, the number in hospital was 808.
