The body has been taken to Letterkenny University Hospital
Gardaí investigating an alleged serious assault in the Sliabh Liag area of south west Donegal have recovered a body.
It is understood the body was retrieved from the the water at Sliabh Liag cliffs with the assistance of the Coast Guard early this morning.
The body has been taken to Letterkenny University Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will be carried.
The Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
