A Red C poll for today's Business Post shows 7 out of 10 voters are demanding it goes.

Voters are sending a very clear message to the government to scrap the controversial 'Universal Social Charge' before the next General Election.

The paper's political editor, Michael Brennan, says all the major parties want to keep the tax.

That's despite a seismic shift in attitude from their own supporters, in response to the 'cost of living' crisis.
