A court has heard a psychological evaluation on a teenage girl charged in connection with the investigation into the fatal assault of Scarlett Faulkner, has not yet been completed.
The 16-year-old girl and a 40-year-old woman, who both cannot be named, appeared at Nenagh District Court in county Tipperary.
Defence solicitor John Herbert said he thinks he will have to contact a third psychologist to obtain an evaluation on the 16-year-old girl charged with assault causing serious harm to Scarlett Faulkner.
Judge Marie Keane described the process of obtaining such a report as "extremely slow" when explaining the situation to the teenager.
DPP directions are also awaited in the case of a 40-year-old woman who is charged with violent disorder, reckless endangerment and two counts of burglary.
The two cases are due before the court again on the 12th of June.
29-year-old Scarlett Faulkner died at Cork University Hospital three weeks after she was allegedly attacked near Birdhill Co Tipperary on the 21st of March.
