A cyclist in his late 20s is in hospital after a hit and run in Louth on Monday afternoon.
It happened in the Castletown Road area of Dundalk at around ten-to-two.
The man fell off his bike and was then hit by a car that failed to remain at the scene.
He was brought to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaí are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact them.
