More than 1 in 7 journeys this year ran at least five minutes late, according to information obtained by The Irish Mail on Sunday.
The rail service, which runs from Greystones in Co Wicklow to Howth and Malahide in Dublin, was late on nine thousand 101 occasions, which is more than any year since 2010.
15.4% of all DART trips so far this year arrived at their destination behind schedule, up from 12% last year.
