Minister Coveney will also hold talks with his Lebanese counterpart.

The Defence Minister will visit Irish troops in Lebanon today.

Simon Coveney will meet with soldiers who're serving with the UN on a peacekeeping mission.

Chief of Staff of the Defence Forces, Vice Admiral Mark Mellett, will also be in attendance.

Minister Coveney will also hold talks with his Lebanese counterpart as well as the head of its armed forces as part of his visit.
