Minister Helen McEntee says her Department has introduced measures to deal with the issue.
The Justice Minister insists the State is clamping down on asylum seekers who arrive here with either no or fake travel documents.
85% of people who applied for international protection at Dublin Airport in 2023 arrived without documents or had false identities.
In total, 4,712 people made an asylum claim at the capital's airport last year; 4,007 either didn't have any or the correct documents.
Minister Helen McEntee says her Department has introduced measures to deal with this.
