The murder took place in January 2017.
Two Dublin brothers have lost an appeal against their convictions for what was described as a "savage, brutal and ferocious" murder.
Dean and Jason Bradley are serving life sentences for murdering Neil Reilly after he fired shots at their home in Liscarne Gardens, Ronanstown.
In the early hours of January 18th 2017, Neil Reilly opened fire on the Bradley home while they were inside.
Paul Bradley and his three sons, Dean, Jason and Ryan gave chase in two vehicles.
When they caught up with him, Jason delivered what were described as “chopping blows” to Mr Reilly before his older brother Dean drove a BMW over him.
All four stood trial, but Dean and Jason were the only ones convicted of murder.
Their father was acquitted by the jury, while their younger brother, Ryan, was also cleared of murder by direction of the judge.
Through their appeal, Dean and Jason claimed their cases should never have gone to the jury.
They also contested the admissibility of certain evidence and the testimony of one witness in particular.
In ruling against them, the judges said they were satisfied that they did get a fair trial and were not convinced that their convictions were unsafe.
