A member of An Garda Síochána has been suspended from duty for corruption.
The Garda Anti-Corruption Unit has been carrying out an investigation into the activities of a particular Garda member based in the Dublin Region.
The man aged in his 30s, a member of An Garda Síochána, has been charged and will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Court Number 2 this morning Wednesday (19th August, 2026).
An Garda Síochána say they are making no further comment as it's an ongoing investigation.
