The deal results in the creation of 40 new jobs in Galway.
Manufacturing and testing company Eirecomposites has announced the creation of 40 jobs in County Galway.
It follows the signing of a new multi million euro contract with Spirit AeroSystems, to provide structural components for aircraft.
The new roles will primarily be in engineering, quality control and high-tech manufacturing.
Minister of State for the Gaelteacht Jack Chambers says it's further proof that Gaelteacht areas can compete on a global stage as long as the appropriate support is available.
