No decision yet on whether the employment support will be extended to year's end.
The Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme is to remain unchanged for October of this year.
However, Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe says no decision has been made on extending the wage supports for businesses to the end of the year.
A call on that will be made in next month's budget.
Businesses with a turnover at least 30 per cent lower than 2019 will still be able to claim the payments through next month.
