The family of Fr Niall Molloy is calling for a commission of investigation into his violent death.

The Roscommon priest was killed in Clara, Co Offaly, 36 years ago in the home of Richard and Theresa Flynn, who have both passed away.

No one been's convicted in relation to his death - with Richard Flynn cleared of manslaughter in 1986.

Roscommon senator Eugene Murphy is backing the Molloy family's call for a new inquiry, after a new documentary was aired

Senator Eugene Murphy says the state should still order a new inquiry.
