Almost €650,000 worth of drugs seized.
Five arrests have been made following drug seizures in Clare and Limerick.
Gardaí stopped a car outside Limerick City as part of the operation and made a series of follow up searches.
In total a seizure of €643,000 worth of drugs was made as well as a quantity of cash.
At approximately 2:15pm yesterday afternoon, Gardaí stopped a vehicle on the Corbally Road inside the Clare border.
€10,000 worth of cocaine was discovered and three men, aged in their 20s and 40s, were arrested at the scene.
A number of follow up searches were conducted in Limerick yesterday evening.
€406,000 worth of cocaine, €140,000 worth of heroin, as well as sizeable quantities of amphetamine and Diazepam tablets were found.
Two further persons, a man in his 50s and woman in her 30s, were arrested and brought to Henry Street Garda Station.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
