A former Dublin City Councillor has appeared in court charged in connection with an investigation into alleged corruption within a particular Dublin based Garda unit.
Stephen Wrenn, of Iveragh Road, Whitehall, Dublin, is accused of forging search warrants.
He is accused of forging search warrants for two separate properties in Dublin, and of perverting the course of justice.
The first warrant was for a flat in Rathmines, while the second was for an apartment at Mountjoy Square North.
He's accused of forging them on dates in 2021, sometime after the searches had actually taken place.
