Grocery Inflation At Its Lowest Level So Far This Year

Last month, grocery inflation was measured at 15.8% while this month it's now 14.7%.

Grocery inflation is at its lowest level so far this year.

Last month, grocery inflation was measured at 15.8% while this month it's now 14.7%.

It's well beyond the level of inflation across the economy which has been measured at just below 5 percent.

Kantar says own label brands continue to grow as shoppers look to save money - the sales of these have gone up by 13 percent.

The study also found that people are making an extra trip to the supermarket compared to the same time last year.
