A man has been arrested after an armed robbery in Dublin this morning.
Gardaí say a man, armed with a hammer, approached security employees at a cash machine in Cornmarket in Dublin 8 just after 6am demanding the contents of the cash box which was being transported.

Gardaí found him nearby and the money was recovered.
The man in his 30s is being questioned at a garda station in the city where he can be held for up to 24 hours.
