Health Minister Looking To Allow Pharmacists To Prescribe Medicines & Extend Prescriptions

Allowing pharmacists to prescribe certain medications could ease pressure on GPS.

The Irish Pharmacy Union is welcoming the Minister of Health's proposal to expand the role of pharmacists in Ireland.

Minister Stephen Donnelly's announced the formation of an Expert Taskforce to explore the issue, with a report due in October.
