A man has now been arrested, on suspicion of murder.
Gardai are investigating after the discovery of a woman's body in Dublin.
The discovery was made at an apartment in the Charlestown area of Finglas this morning.
The woman's body remains at the scene at this time.

Gardaí in Finglas in North Dublin are investigating a fatal assault on a woman overnight. The woman’s remains were discovered at around 6am at an apartment in Charlestown following a 999 call. #VMNews

A man was arrested after 11am, arrested on suspicion of murder.
The scene is currently preserved, and a post mortem exam is due to take place later today.
