53 year old Grace Miano has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
The jurors in the murder trial of a man killed in Dublin almost three years ago have begun considering their verdict.
Limbani Mzoma, who was originally from Malawi, died after suffering 65 injuries to his body at his home in Tudor Lawns in Foxrock in November 2018.
53 year old Grace Miano who lived at the same address has pleaded NOT guilty to his murder by reason of insanity.
The court heard the Kenyan woman was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia at the time of the murder and had delusional beliefs that the deceased man was trying to hurt her.
She had delusions about the British Royal family, with one consultant describing her as possibly the ‘most floridly schizoaffected person’ he had ever met.
