Incident happened on Wednesday in Tralee
A Kerry county councillor has appealed to gardai to convene talks to prevent further violence, after a man was stabbed to death at a funeral yesterday.
Thomas Dooley, who was in his 40s, died following the attack at Rath Cemetery in Tralee yesterday morning.
A man in his 30s was arrested in Cork in the early hours of this morning, and is currently being held at Tralee Garda Station.
Mr Dooley's wife, Siobhan, was also seriously injured during the incident.
