The Central Statistics Office (CSO) has today published statistics on Irish Babies’ Names 2025.
Kildare findings show Liam and Lily were the most popular baby names in the county last year.


Further findings show Rían and Lily were the most popular baby names nationally.
Rían knocked Jack into second position, having previously held the top spot every year since 2007.
Nationally, Éabha retained its second-place ranking, while Sadie entered the top five for the very first time.
