Gardaí are appealing for witnesses
A man in his 20s has died, after a crash near Kinnegad in County Westmeath.
He was the passenger in a car, which hit a parked car and then a wall at around 9.30 pm last night.
The driver, also a man in his twenties, was brought to the Regional Hospital Mullingar, where his injuries are not life threatening.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
They are also asking motorists who were travelling on the R148 at the time of the crash, who have dash cam or video footage, to make it available to them.
