He is due to appear in court this morning.
A man in his 30s has been charged with the murder of Sean McCarthy, who was found dead in a Dublin apartment last weekend.
36 year old Dean Caffery was charged at Clontarf garda station in the early hours of this morning and appeared before the courts today.
On Saturday, 28-year-old Sean McCarthy from Poppintree near Ballymun was found dead in Dean Caffery’s apartment, at Beau Court, Achill Road, Drumcondra.
Mr McCarthy had been reported as missing since Tuesday the second of August.
Today, 36 year old Dean Caffery appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice, charged with his murder.
Mr Caffery made no comment during the short hearing and was remanded in custody.
He’ll appear before Cloverhill District Court next Wednesday, the 17th of August.
