Happened in Rathkeale in the early hours of this morning
A man in his early 30s has died after a road crash in Co. Limerick in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí in Rathkeale are investigating after the collision between a truck and a car.
The truck driver was fatally injured, he was the only occupant inside.
A man in his 50s, who was driving the car, was brought to University Hospital Limerick with non-life threatening injuries.
The road is currently closed and local diversions are in place.
