Jozef Puska is charged with murdering the school teacher after fatal assault in Tullamore
A trial date has been set for Ashling Murphy's murder trial.
Jozef Puska, with an address at Lynally Grove in Tullamore, Co Offaly, will stand trial for her murder on June 6th next year.
The man was charged with Ashling Murphy's murder a week after the 23 year old primary school teacher was killed while out for a run in Tullamore back in January.
After first appearing before the local district court, Mr Puska made several appearances before Cloverhill DC in Dublin before he was sent forward for trial.
Through a live video link, he appeared before the Central Criminal Court for the first time this morning.
The judge was told a date would be required for a trial that's to take between three and four weeks
June 6th next year was then set down for his trial.
Mr Puska, who followed proceedings with the assistant of a Slovakian translator, was then remanded in custody until that date.
