The man arrested on suspicion of the murder of Angela Canavan in Sligo has been released without charge.
He was being questioned at a Garda Station in the North Western Region since his arrest yesterday morning.
Ms. Canavan was found dead at her home at St. John's Terrace in Sligo Town this day last week.
Gardaí this afternoon confirmed the man - who is in his 30s - was released, and a file will be prepared for the DPP.
