Man Dies After Road Crash Between Car And E-Scooters In Dundalk

A man has died in a crash involving a car and two e-scooters in Couth Louth.

Two others were injured in the incident late last night.

The collision happened on Armagh Road in Dundalk after 11 o'clock last night.

One man - aged in his 20s - was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body has been removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

Two others, also in their 20s, were injured.

One was treated by ambulance personnel at the scene - while the other was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The road remains closed for a forensic examination, with diversions in place.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the Armagh Road area between 11 o'clock and 11.45 last night and may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
