Shortly before 8:30pm on Saturday evening, Gardaí received reports of an incident involving a number of people at South County Business Park.
They arrived to find three injured men, who required hospitalisation, with one in a critical condition.
The court heard he died just before 1 o’clock this afternoon.
23-year-old Cristian Demian of Howth Road in Raheny is charged with one count of violent disorder and one count of assault causing harm.
The court was told CCTV evidence shows the accused striking the now deceased twice on the head with a shovel.
A second man, 21-year-old Kevin Rostas of Harrington Street in Dublin 8 is charged with one count of violent disorder.
Gardaí made objections to bail in both cases, and their applications were denied.
The two accused have been remanded in custody to appear in court next week.
It brings the total number of men to appear in court as part of this investigation so far to three.
