Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 30s died in a crash near Tullamore this morning.
The car the man was driving hit a wall on the R421 Killurin road just outside the town between 5 and 5.30 this morning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was the sole occupant of the car, and no other injuries were reported.
The road between Ballard Roundabout and Black Lion Cross is closed and diversions are in place.
It's expected the road will remain closed for a number of hours.
