A man has died following a motorcycle crash in Co. Offaly.
The incident happened last night at Mullaghatour in Belmont at around 6.45pm.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road remains closed this morning as Forensic Collision Investigators carry out a technical examination.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the single vehicle collision to come forward.
