NCSC Issues Warning About Spyware Software Targeting Android Users.

Apple devices are not currently being targeted in this scam.

The National Cyber Security Centre has issued a warning about a spyware software currently targeting Android users in Ireland.

People are being sent text messages claiming that they have missed a package delivery with a link provided to get further details.

The Cyber Security Centre says malicious software will be downloaded if the link is clicked which will aim to steal passwords and sensitive data.

Apple devices are not currently being targeted in this scam.
