Nine People Hospitalised Following Apartment Building Fire In Wicklow

The incident happened on the Lower Dargle Road in Bray, with the alarm was raised shortly before 5am.

Nine people have been taken to hospital following a fire at an apartment building in County Wicklow.

The incident happened on the Lower Dargle Road in Bray, with the alarm was raised shortly before 5am.

Fire crews from Bray, Dún Laoghaire and Greystones attended the scene - while Gardaí closed off the road.

The occupants were safely evacuated and treated for smoke inhalation, and have since been hospitalised.
