Over 300 Jobs Are Being Cut By PayPal's Irish Operations

It's understood redundancies will be sought on a voluntary basis.

Just over 300 jobs are being cut at PayPal's Irish operations.

135 jobs will go at PayPal's Blanchardstown office, with a further 172 at its facility in Dundalk, with staff informed this morning.

PayPal says the company won't be seeking voluntary redundancy on this occassion

The Tanaiste says the news will come as a shock to staff working at the company's Dundalk and Blanchardstown offices.


While the company says it's committed to the remaining 2000 staff members in Ireland, Louth TD Ged Nash thinks that should be taken with a pinch of salt:
