From the 1st of January the standard rate threshold of income tax will by increased.

People are being reminded about new tax changes coming into effect in 2025.

From the 1st of January the standard rate threshold of income tax will by increased by 2 thousand euro.

It means you'll be able to earn up to 44 thousand euro before being charged at the higher rate, while the personal tax credit is also being raised to 2 thousand euro.

Junior Finance Minister Neale Richmond says there's also USC changes coming:
