People Before Profit has tabled a motion in the Dáil calling for sanctions on Israel and for Shannon Airport to be closed to the US military.

It also calls for all US military aircraft and troop carriers to be stopped from landing at Shannon Airport immediately.
The motion is likely to be defeated by a Government counter motion, which it says it's bringing because the People Before Profit motion omits any mention of Hamas.
