The ESRI says Ireland has the fourth lowest employment rate among people with a disability in the EU.
People with a disability are more than twice as likely to experience poverty and deprivation than those without.
That's according to a new ESRI study.
It also highlights that people with a disability in Ireland are more than twice as likely to experience poverty and deprivation than those without.
Author of the report, Elish Kelly, says there's also a significant gap between those with and without a disability when it comes to education:

Ireland has the fourth lowest employment rate among people with a disability in the EU.
The findings also show 30 percent of adults with a disability have a third-level education, compared to 47 percent of those without.
