Police in Spain are investigating the death of a 24 year old Irish man, who was found dead in a swimming pool.
Friends found him in the water at a holiday home near Marbella yesterday, and called the emergency services for assistance.
The dead man has not been named, and police are due to report details to a local courthouse.
A post mortem on the body is also due to take place some time between today and Monday.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it's aware of the case and is providing consular assistance.
