New DUP leader Edwin Poots is expected to announce his ministerial team at Stormont today.

Arlene Foster says she'll immediately resign as First Minister in that case - instead of quitting at the end of this month.

DUP MLAs Mervyn Storey and Paul Givan are the favourites to replace her, as Mr Poots says he won't be filling the role.

Professor of British and Irish politics at the University of Liverpool, Jon Tonge expects him to announce a conservative team today.

Professor Tonge says the DUP's in disarray.
